The Greene County High School student council held a dodgeball tournament fundraiser Friday night.

Advisor Deb Marquardt says 11 student teams participated. The students had to find sponsors for the $50 entry fee in order to compete. They raised $550. Some of the sponsors included Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Jefferson, Community State Bank in Paton, high school history teacher Darren Jackson, Tucker Ag. Trucking, Powerlift, Bravard Farms, Complete Insurance and Andrew Riley and family.

There were other opportunities for people to contribute through concession stand purchases and a free-will donation can.

All proceeds will go back to the student council which will be given as scholarships to graduating seniors.
