The Greene County School Board will meet twice tonight.

The Board will hold a work session to hear an update from the high school. The meeting starts at 5:15pm. Because it is a work session, no action will be taken by the Board.

The regular will then follow at 6:30pm. A new board member will take the oath of office and then the Board will discuss advertising and public relation options.

The Board will then consider for approval shared positions with the curriculum director, media specialist and English language learner teacher; the spring list of officials for sporting events; a high school club request; the 2016 fiscal year audit report; an early graduation request; an employee additional leave request; a fundraiser request; a physical education waiver and board policy review.

The Board will also discuss the Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation grant funds, the summer sales tax and physical plant and equipment levy projects and setting a public hearing dates for a 2016-17 budget amendment and the 2017-18 budget.

Both meetings will be in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
