Over a dozen people attended Bolton & Menk’s first year anniversary, as well as a retirement party for engineer John Milligan in Jefferson on Friday.
Milligan founded MHF Engineering in 1983 and has been the Jefferson City Engineer since 1978. He’s worked with about five different city administrators and four mayors during his tenure as city engineer.
“It’s been a great experience. However, two meetings per month for 38 years, it’s probably time to quit. I think the City of Jefferson is on the upswing and moving in the right direction. I think there’s some good leadership to carry it forward.”
New City Engineer James Leiding with Bolton & Menk says the transition has been smooth over the last year.
“We starting working with clients and getting them introduced to the new staff, letting them know that the staff that was here is staying here. That it’s essentially going to be the same atmosphere as it has been, it’s just a different company name.”
The Greene County Ambassadors were also on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Bolton & Menk’s one year anniversary.
