Johnny Counterfit & the Time Traveler’s Band will take the stage at the Warren Cultural Center Saturday. Counterfeit says he began developing the musical impressions he performs as a child.

“I would just sit in front of the TV and watch these country superstars. Before too long I found I could pretty accurately copy the things they did and how they sounded and I’ve be growing my repertoire ever since.”

Counterfeit also praised the talent of his band.

“These guys have been with me for close to 30 years. They are great on-stage performers and studio recording artists.”
