Coming off a successful new event last week, Jefferson Matters: Main Street’s next Java & Juice is tomorrow at New Hope Bargain Shoppe on the west side of the downtown square.
The event is sponsored by the economic vitality committee. Chair Scott Weber has personal ties with Java & Juice from the time he spent in Cherokee. He says Friday mornings are a great time for people to get out of their offices for a short time, network with other people, get introduced to new employees of the host business and see what other opportunities are available in the community.
The first Java & Juice was at Weber’s employer Unger Insurance. New Hope first opened it’s doors in Jefferson earlier this month, after taking over the former Ben Franklin location in January. It will take place from 9:30 to 10am. No pre-registration is necessary.
The next three Java & Juice events will be at Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts on March 17th, Addie’s on March 24th and Meythaler Photography on March 31st.
Any business who wishes to host a Java & Juice in the downtown historical district, may contact Jefferson Matters by emailing Weber at scott@ungerins.com or Program Director Peg Raney at director@jeffersonmatters.org.
