The early part of the season continues on for the ADM Tiger boys track and field team as they took their shot at the Dickinson Relays in Cedar Falls last night.
The Tigers were highlighted by another great performance by senior Jacob West earning a four way tie for 4th place in the high jump with a final height of 6′-02″.
ADM had three runners place inside the top 150 runners in the 200 meter dash with Caleb Herrick leading the way with a time of 25.97 putting him in 109th place. Seth Duroe took home a 131st place finish with a time of 26.52 seconds while brother Brett Duroe’s time of 27.00 seconds put him in 145th place.
Reece McLaughlin paced ADM in the 400 meter dash notching a 27th place finish with a time of 54.09 seconds. Fellow Tigers Braeden Hegarty and Kade Barcus earned top 130 finishes in the event as Hegarty took 123rd with a time of 59.21 while Barcus took 125th place with a time of 59.41 seconds.
Sean McGee led the way for ADM in the 800 meter run earning a 90th place with a time of 2:24.46. Braeden Hegarty followed closely behind taking home a 95th place finish courtesy of his time of 2:24.98 seconds.
The evening for ADM was concluded with the 4 x 200 meter relay race where the Tigers took home a 49th place finish after a finishing time of 1:43.60.
Next up on the docket for the ADM boys track team will be Iowa State University meet next Tuesday in Ames, beginning at 3:00 pm.
