Town hall meetings to educate the public on the need for a new law enforcement facility and proposed plans in Dallas County ahead of the May 2nd bond referendum continue.
The Dallas County Supervisors attended a public forum in Adel last night but if you missed it there are two more opportunities to learn more this week starting tonight at the Minburn American Legion Hall at 6:30pm, with another event set for 10am Saturday at the Dawson City Hall.
According to a study done by the Samuels Group, over thirty years, it will cost the County $217 million to build and operate a new law enforcement facility compared to $239 million to keep the existing facility.
All town hall meetings are free and open to the public. You can find more information in the link below.
