The Perry High School Mock Trial team recently competed in the Iowa State Bar Association’s Central District contest.
Alicia Calderon, Hannah Sacket, Sarah Sweet, Gabe Ridnour, Gizelle Robles, Cale Cooklin, Fatima Gonzales Devon Archer, Mariah McNamara, Jocelyn Fuentes, Jason Zepeda, Mario Cruz and Alexa Zarate competed in trails against Ankeny and Valley Southwoods at the Veterans Auditorium Center March 1st.
The students are critiqued by Iowa judges, attorneys and law students and rated based on their ability to accurately and credibly portray witnesses and attorneys.
Sackett, Sweet and Fuentes were cites as Outstanding by the trial judges.
