The Jefferson Rotary Club is encouraging the public to attend a candidate forum for the special Greene County School Board election.
The two candidates running to fill the vacancy on the school board are Matt Wetrich and Steve Fisher. Rotarian Rick Morain will be the moderator and there will be time for questions from the public. Wetrich and Fisher are running in the special election after former board member Ashley Johnston resigned in January and the School Board chose to hold a special election instead of appointing an individual to fill the position.
The candidate forum will be held at the elementary school cafeteria in Jefferson on Thursday, March 9th at 7pm.
The special election will be on March 14th.
