A Father Daughter Dance will be held in Panora at the beginning of April and the organizers are asking for dresses and shoes to be donated for the event. Arianne Steenblock, one of the mothers who is organizing the dance, describes their goal.
“Building a special bond between fathers and daughters for the foundation of a great relationship between parent and child is really what we want to accomplish.”
“Sunday Best” attire is requested and donated dresses and shoes will be available at United Methodist Church starting tomorrow through March 18th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dress and shoe donations are being accepted now in marked purple donation bins at Main Street Dance Studio, United Methodist Church and Faith Bible Church in Panora. Girls from kindergarten up to eighth grade are invited. Tickets are $15 per couple and can be purchased at Faith Bible Church or the Panora Public Library.
