The high school track & field teams at Greene County High School are practicing for the upcoming 2017 season. Dean Lansman is the boys’ head coach and he outlines for Raccoon Valley Radio some of the areas he would like to see get better from a year ago. “Areas we need to improve in are the middle distances (400-800 meters) and the throws areas. Field events are vital when it comes to meets, so those are important. We obviously want the kids to get better and work hard. If you do the little things, those other things should fall into place.”

More than 35 boys are out for the sport. The first outdoor meet is the Rams’ Early Bird Co-ed meet on Monday, March 27 in Jefferson at the Linduska Field track.
