Whiterock Conservancy is hosting it’s third annual Archeological Roadshow today at the Bur Oak Visitor’s Center in Coon Rapids.

From 1:00 to 3:00 pm amateur archaeologists can bring items and experts will help them learn how old artifacts are, where they came from, what they were used for and what the people who used them were like. From 3:00 to 4:00 pm experts including EarthView Environmental Senior Geoarcheologist Joe Artz and State Archaeologist Outreach Educator Cherie Haury-Artz will discuss some of the most interesting artifacts brought to the Roadshow as well as items found at a recent dig near the Middle Raccoon River.
