A deputy was called to security check in 1700 block of 220th Street. Deputy did not locate any suspicious activity for the vehicle had left the property prior to the deputy’s arrival.
A deputy investigated a car/deer accident in the area of 245th Street and L Avenue. Joshua Halterman was traveling east on 245th Street when he struck a deer with 2013 Honda Civic. The incident caused approximately $1500.00 in damage to the vehicle.
Deputies and Jefferson Fire were called to a vehicle rollover in the area of 235th Street and Parkland Avenue. Deeann Thompson was traveling west on 235th Street when she lost control of her 1999 Ford Ranger. Firefighters did have to assist with extracting Ms. Thompson out the vehicle. Dale Thompson was her passenger and they both were transported to Greene County Medical Center by Greene County EMS to be treated for possible injuries. The vehicle was a total loss with an estimated $5000.00 in damages.
A deputy was contacted about damage to vehicle windshield.
A deputy investigated a careless driving complaint in the Jefferson area.
A deputy advised of car/deer accident on 220th Street by the Raccoon River Bridge. The owner had made their own arrangements for the vehicle.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
