The Adel City Council will meet in regular session tonight.

Items on the agenda include a presentation from Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard in regards to the proposed new public safety facility, approval of a recommendation to pursue negotiations with Xenia Rural Water for Southbridge and Twin Eagles and a zoning amendment and development agreement for Bloomfield Acres.

The Council will also consider an agreement with the police union for fiscal year 2018 wages, setting public hearings in regards to $5.5 million in general obligation refinancing bonds and the 2018 budget, approval of an increase in fees for the Adel Family Aquatic Center, consideration of a special eventer permit for the Market to Market Relay and the appointment of a negotiating team for the east annexation sewer extension.

The meeting takes place at 6pm the Adel City Hall.
