Guthrie County 4-Hers need to take a test or attend a course in order to be certified to show livestock at state and county fairs in the coming year.

“4-Hers showing swine beef, dairy, sheep, poultry, goats, rabbits need to be certified to show at the Guthrie County Fair, Iowa State Fair and AK-SAR-BEN” says Janae Eisentrager with the Guthrie County Extension office.

Training will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. February 16th and 21st at the community center. 4-Hers uncertain if they need to attend a workshop or test out should contact Mollie Clark at the extension office.
