November continues to be the month where most people have a job in the Raccoon River Valley.
According to Iowa Workforce Development, Dallas, Greene and Guthrie counties experienced their lowest unemployment rates that month at 2.2, 2.1 and 2.6 percent respectively.
February had the highest unemployment rate of the year for Guthrie County at five percent and Dallas County at 3.3 percent. August proved to have the largest number of people without a job in Greene County at 4.3 percent.
In December, the total number of working Iowans decreased by 4,000 compared to November, but that figure was 4,800 higher than the same month the year before.
