Whether you’re looking forward to getting on a bicycle in the cold this weekend or not, the Perry Chamber encourages everyone to join in on the BRR related festivities.
The Bike Ride to Rippey will take off from Perry for the 40th time Saturday. Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson says there’s a lot more to the event than just riding a bike.
“What I encourage you to do as locals is just come down and participate either with the ride itself or just hang out. Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel Pattee or with the Lions Club or whatever it is. Be an ambassador. (The Cyclists) are great people and it’s so fun to see where they all come from.”
So far, Wilson says around 450 people have signed up to ride BRR. Pre-registration is $25 and includes a t-shirt. You can sign up through a link in this story on our website.
