The Greene County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.
During open forum, Jefferson Mayor Craig Berry asked the Supervisors if they could once again host the Market-to-Market Relay on the south side of the courthouse and possibly use the courthouse rotunda on May 12th and 13th. The Supervisors gave their permission to do that.

County Engineer Wade Weiss updated the Board on road conditions following the ice storm earlier this week. He said they had their entire fleet out Monday treating all the paved and gravel county roads. The Board then heard 2018 fiscal year budget proposals from conservation, environmental health, treasurer, human services, auditor and elections as presented. The Board took no action on the proposals.
The Board approved the County Treasurer’s semi-annual report, the investment report for December of $5,135,032 and issuing 184 driver’s licenses last month. The Board also approved transferring $175,000 from local option sales and services tax to secondary road funds.
