A joint investigation with Guthrie County Deputies, Panora Police and Stuart Police resulted in several juveniles being charged with a number of crimes.

As part of the investigation a search warrant was conducted Monday night in the 300 block of North Division Street in Stuart. During the search, officers recovered several types of illegal narcotics, including what is believed to be cocaine and a substance commonly referred to as “acid.” The names of the juveniles will not be released due to their age.

Stuart Police say the case is a perfect example of how cooperation, communication and partnerships among law enforcement agencies is crucial, especially in rural areas where officers are often spread thin. They add they are proud to be involved in such a strong partnership between all of their surrounding law enforcement agencies.
