A Glidden man was sentenced to probation for a series of burglaries that happened in Jefferson.
According to court documents, 33 year-old Glenn Edward Summers pled guilty to two Class D Felonies for second degree criminal mischief and third degree burglary. In his plea agreement, his five year prison sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years in a residential correctional facility.
The charges stem from an investigation into several burglaries from May 2 and 4, 2016. Summers caused damage to recreational vehicles at Holiday RV and broke into Hamilton car wash and Durbin Automotive and stole several items.
He was also ordered to pay court appointed attorney fees, court costs, surcharges and victim restitution to Holiday RV for $5,000. His probation sentence is to run consecutively with several Carroll County charges that are related to the investigation.
