The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval technical services, matching funds, an affirmative fair housing policy, an equal opportunity policy, a code of conduct, residential anti-discrimination and relocation assistance plan, a procurement policy and excessive force following a public hearing on the application for the Community Development Block Grant owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program.

The Council will also consider for approval an amendment to the Urban Renewal Plan, setting a hearing date and consultation on the Urban Renewal Plan amendment, the five-year capital improvement plan and matching funds for the airport improvement project, an agreement with the Department of Transportation for the remaining $200,000 for the grade separation project and the first reading to amend an ordinance for provisions on speeding regulations and traffic.

Finally, there will be a presentation on a proposed animal shelter update.

The meeting begins at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
