This week is National Flu Shot Awareness Week and for those who haven’t gotten their flu shot yet can still get them at Guthrie County Public Health.

Administrator Jotham Arber says they carry flu shots through February and offer flu shot clinics every Thursday at their facility at 2002 State Street in Guthrie Center.

“All of our flu shots are mercury free. We don’t have any that contain any athena sol. They’re all pre filled syringes. So we make sure we get those specifically to keep anything that might prevent people from getting their flu shot.”

Arber adds that they accept appointments or walk-ins 8am to 4:30pm on Thursdays.
