Candy sale from 2015
Candy sale from 2015

The final fundraiser of the year for the Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary is tomorrow.

Auxiliary Liaison Hollie Roberts says their holiday candy sale starts at 7am on Thursday. It is a first come, first served basis and they’ll be selling homemade candies and other holiday treats at the main entrance to the medical center, as well as the A Level with the specialty clinics. Roberts talks about why they wanted to include the lower level entrance as part of their fundraiser this year.

“That is also where we offer some of our services that our clients come in and it’s just more convenient for them. If they’re down there getting a service or getting help one way or another, it’s nice for them to be able to just access the fun candy sale there.”

For those that don’t need as much candy or holiday goodies, Roberts adds that they will also have snack bags for purchase.

All proceeds from the candy sale go back to the Auxiliary for equipment purchases for the medical center.
