Greene County Extension is offering a free program on Thursday related to agriculture.
Director Lori Mannel says ISU Extension Field Agronomist Mark Johnson will cover the program called “Palmer Amaranth, Do You Have It?” She notes that this is the first of their informal ag coffee meetings, which don’t typically start until January.
“But this is really an emerging topic that people are wanting to know more information about it. We’re thinking we may have a large attendance for this, so no need to RSVP, just show up.”
The program will be held from 9:30 to 11:30am at Clover Hall on the fairgrounds in Jefferson.
