Tonight will be not just a West Central Activities Conference showdown for the ACGC Chargers, but also a Guthrie County showdown as the Chargers square off against the West Central Valley Wildcats.

The first game of the double header will be the ACGC Lady Chargers as they seek their second win on the young season. ACGC ended their season opener with a loss to the hands of Audubon but then showed their resilience by storming back late in game number two to defeat Madrid 38-37. That game was followed up with an unfortunate loss to Ogden last Friday night but look to turn the tables for a win here tonight. The Lady Chargers are averaging just over 30 points per contest while shooting 31% from field goal range and 36% from the free throw line.

The ACGC boys basketball team is seeking their first win on the season after falling in their season opener to Madrid and their home opener against Ogden. The Chargers have averaged 33 points per game through two contests shooting 29% from the floor while shooting 48% from the free throw line.

The girls game will kick off the action starting at 6:00 pm followed by the boys contest at 7:30 pm.
