The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.

The Council will consider for approval an appointment to the fire department, establishing a new impound lot with Greene County, adding another police officer, promoting an officer to the rank of sergeant, engineering services with Bolton & Menk for an alley replacement and a pavement replacement projects, annual appropriation for Lincoln Ridge Estates Development agreement and Jefferson Hotel Group and health insurance premiums for city employees.

Dan Benitz will also be sworn in as a City Council person and there will be a quarterly meeting with Jefferson Matters: Main Street.

The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
