Greene County Dispatchers were advised of a cow along the roadway in the 500 block of 240th Street. Dispatchers were able to locate the owner and advised him of the situation.

A deputy assisted a Department of Human Services caseworker with locating a juvenile female in Paton that had run away from a court ordered youth shelter in Des Moines. The deputy transported the juvenile to the Greene County LEC for further transport back to Des Moines.

A deputy spoke with a resident in the 1000 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction regarding a child custody civil issue.

A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of Hager Street in Grand Junction to help mediate a verbal altercation between an unruly juvenile female and her mother.

A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of 9th Street South in Grand Junction for the report of furniture being illegally burnt within the city limits. The adult male was advised of the city’s burning code.

A Jefferson Police Officer assisted a deputy with a single vehicle accident that occurred as an eastbound vehicle struck the west side of the Raccoon River Bridge on old Highway 30,(237th Street) west of Jefferson. Kirby Gene Gathercoal 18, of Grand Junction, reported that due to a wet road surface, he lost control of his 1996 Toyota Corolla, striking the bridge guard rail. Kirby Gathercoal was not injured but his car sustained major damage. He was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control.

Tuesday, November 22nd

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of North 16th Street in Grand Junction to investigate criminal mischief to the tires on a vehicle.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
