Three Guthrie County school districts competed in the Class 1A state cross country meet.

Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School boys’ team finished third overall, while the girls’ earned 11th place as a team. The Chargers did have an individual champion with Kate Crawford.

As for Panorama, the girls’ team finished tenth overall in Class 1A, while the boys’ took home 14th place.

West Central Valley didn’t qualify a team to the state meet, but they had three individuals that ran in Fort Dodge, they include Rylan Heffernan, Tyler McKibbin and Abbey Harris. Heffernan had the best finish with 20th place.

The state meet was on Saturday.
