Greene County High School cross-country coach Kelly Simpson has announced  awards for the recently completed season. Senior Olivia Hansen and junior Jacob Hueser were named MVPs of the girls and boys squads, respectively. Hansen was the number one girl and junior Nick Killion was the number one boy. The most improved runner was junior Emily Bettey  Voted newcomer awards were freshmen Ashlee Harmeyer and Brian Hardaway. Junior Ben Wilkins was named recipient of the team award, while Hansen received the Captain’s pin. Hansen ran a 21:03.20 five kilometers (3.1 miles), a school record in the two seasons of the longer distance.

Girls earning letters were Hansen, Bettey, freshmen Harmeyer, Izzy Bravard, Bailey Cunningham, Kassie Lamoureux, and junior Regan Lamoureux.

Boys lettering were Hueser, Killion, and Hardaway. Wilkins lettered as a manager.
