Tuesday the Iowa Association Of Track Coaches released their final team and individual cross country rankings for the 2016 season.

For the West Central Valley Wildcats, it has been a very solid season overall that will witness three Wildcat runners making their way individually to the state meet this Saturday. One of those runners would be junior Rylan Heffernan who comes in as the 14th ranked runner in all of class 1A according to the latest rankings.

Rylan had a strong showing in the prior two meets earning a 5th overall place finish at the West Central Activities Conference meet while earning a second place finish in the state qualifying meet.

Joining Rylan will be seniors Tyler MiKibbin and Abbey Harris as they take to the road in Fort Dodge for the state meet this Saturday.
