Greene County High School junior Haley Hall placed first three times in Waterloo on Saturday at the North Central Conference Swim Meet. Hall and other Greene County students swim for Boone under an athletic sharing agreement. Hall was first in the 200 freestyle, first in the 100 butterfly, and was on the first place 200 medley relay. She also swam on the second place 400 freestyle relay.
Another Greene County junior, Ashley Hunter, was on the second place 200 freestyle relay, and was third in both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle races.
Freshman Megan Doran was second to Hall in the 100 butterfly, second on the 200 freestyle relay, fourth as part of the 400 freestyle relay, and on the fourth place 200 medley relay. Freshman Ellie Madson was fourth in the 500 freestyle and sixth in the 100 breaststroke, plus part of the fifth place 200 freestyle relay. Freshman Julia Saul was on the fifth place freestyle relay and was eighth in the 100 butterfly.
The Toreadors swim in Johnston this Saturday in a state qualifying regional meet.
