The public is invited to find out who this year’s Friend of the Year Award will go to at the Jefferson Public Library tonight.

A special ceremony will be held at the library at 7pm. The recipient is someone who volunteers their time to support the library through activities and events and unselfishly gives their time to grow the library. Last year’s recipients were Vern Foje, Cassie Dozier and Joyce and Conner Allender for their landscaping efforts around the outside of the library.

Following the award presentation will be refreshments. It is free and open to the public.
