The Dallas County Board of Supervisors have taken the next step in bringing the issue of building a new law enforcement center before the voters again next year.
At Tuesday’s Board meeting, architects Jerry Purdy and Dana Wernimont with Design Alliance shared conceptual design updates for the proposed law enforcement center. They are taking cost saving options into consideration and are looking at ways to make the building more appealing and less “fancy” looking for voters. Sheriff Chad Leonard says he likes the proposed plans and has no concerns with the design. Purdy encouraged the Sheriff to look at similar facilities to get an idea of what it would be like and how it would work in Dallas County.
After review, the Board approved the designs as presented.
