Paton-Churdan School District was recently selected as a Ready for School Community by Iowa Public Television.

The Rockets join 16 other school districts in the state as part of IPTV’s Ready for School initiative. P-C will get to work with educational specialists to provide math and literacy-based activities for children ages two to eight years-old. The district will get access to high-quality educational media resources including online games, instructional materials and activities to help students increase their education.

Since the first-year of the program in 2008, 75 communities have participated in it. A full list of this year’s participants can be found below.
