As Landus Cooperative continues to make transitions following the merger of West Central Cooperative and Farmers Cooperative Company last December, the final additions to the executive team have been announced.
Brett Bell is the Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for operations of over 70 locations across the state, along with the agronomy business and logistics division. He is a former Cargill employee with over 20 years of experience in retail agronomy sales, marketing, consulting and management.
Janelle Thomas is the company’s first ever Chief Human Resources Officer. She is responsible for employee benefits, compensation, employment law and compliance and payroll. In addition, she will work with the current Human Resources team to focus the company culture on customer service of it’s nearly 800 employees. She has over 15 years of human resource experience.
Finally, Tom Guinan is the Vice-President of Producer Grain Marketing. He has over 30 years of grain industry experience. Guinan oversees the grain marketing advisors, as well as delivering and executing grain marketing knowledge, risk management tools and pricing for farmer-members and customers.
The new executive members join Chief Executive Officer Milan Kucerak.
