Homeowners are reminded that their first-half of property taxes are due tomorrow.

Greene County Treasurer Donna Lawson says most property taxes are automatically paid through a mortgage company. After September 30th, landowners will be charged 1.5 percent per month until it is paid.

If someone can’t pay their taxes, Lawson says they are willing to help them make payment installments until the taxes have been paid.

The second half property taxes are due next March.
