In their second year in Guthrie County, Heart of Iowa Habitat for Humanity completed three Helping Hands home-repair projects.

Associate Director Jeff Lamoureux says in order to expand next year, Habitat is looking for more volunteers. “I would say that if anyone is willing to volunteer, we’re always looking for volunteers. There’s volunteer opportunities for everybody, but those that have construction skills or specialities, and have some construction knowledge that can sit on our construction committee and act as a project manager or site supervisor for one of our projects, we are looking for those individuals.”
