A special event is taking place in Rippey next month.

The Rippey Public Library is hosting their Fall Festival and Carotber Fest on October 29th.

The Fall Festival includes activities like horseshoe and corn-hole bags tournaments with prizes awarded, plus crafts, a soup and chili cook-off and a bake sale. There will also be a free showing of the movie Hocus Pocus in the community building at 5:15pm.

Anyone wanting to show off their car, truck, tractor or motorcycle are invited to participate in the Carobter Fest show. The entry fee is $10 per participant, as a donation to the library. T-shirts are also available for $10. Registration forms are available at the library and at Sparky’s One Stop gas station in Rippey. Early registrations are due by October 3rd, otherwise it will be $15 after the 3rd. T-shirt orders are also due by October 3rd.
