A deputy assisted the Jefferson Fire Department and Greene County EMS with a fire call at a residence in the 100 block of West Wilcox Way in Jefferson.

A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a reported suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of 150th Street and after an investigation arrested Tyson James Ruth 35, and Joey Ann Godwin 35, both of Jefferson, for Criminal Mischief 4 th Degree (serious misdemeanor) and Possession of Burglary Tools. (aggravated misdemeanor)

A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of South 7 th Street in Grand Junction for a trespassing concern.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
