The ADM Lady Tiger volleyball team treated the hometown fans to their 13th win of the season last night taking on the Lady Wildcats of Carlisle.

ADM came out strong in set number one taking down Carlisle 25-17 and after faltering slightly in a set number two loss 24-26, the Lady Tigers found their consistency to take the next two sets 25-19 and 25-12 for the match win.

It was an all around team effort for ADM who witnessed multiple individuals have big nights. ADM’s big three of Schepers, Gottschalk, and Bertman played lights out in their respective roles. Sydney Bertman helped to facilitate the big offensive night for the Lady Tigers totaling 21 of the teams 37 assists while tying for third in digs on the night with 10.

As has been the norm throughout the season last years kills leader Sami Schepers continues to lead  the way this season as she added to her total last night with 13 kills which added nicely to her night of 12 digs, one block, and one Ace.

While Amy Gottschalk had a quiter night than ADM fans are used to seeing from her, they did witness various other players have big nights including Jordan Hook with a monster game leading the team with 21 digs to add to her 2 assists and 2 aces for the contest.

ADM as a whole continued to increase their kill efficiency average earning a .254 for the match and .164 overall this season. The Lady Tigers completed 87 successful serves out of 95 attempts for 12 aces. Last nights win puts ADM at 8-2 in their last 10 matches and now riding a 5 game winning streak.

A lot of momentum for the Lady Tigers at the right time as they will head into the varsity invitational at Dubuque Hempstead high school tomorrow where they will look to take on the likes of Dubuque Senior, Iowa City High, Iowa City West, Cedar Rapids Xavier, Davenport West, Bettendorf, and Dubuqe Hempstead high schools.
