The work of a Harlan artist who participated in the United States Air Forces’ art program will be on display beginning tomorrow at Art on State in Guthrie Center.

Guthrie County Arts Council member Debbie Menning says Bob Fields’ Aviation Art display will be shown from Thursday-Sunday, in conjunction with Sunday’s Freedom Rock dedication ceremony. She adds Fields’ painting “Cadets over Pikes Peak” hung in the Pentagon Office of Air Force General Larry D. Welch.
Fields’ work can be viewed by the public at the retail location, plus, weather permitting, a piece of his artwork will be on display during the dedication at the Guthrie County Freedom Rock Sunday at 2 p.m., which Fields will be in attendance for.
