nick-lytleA Jefferson man was apprehended by law enforcement Monday.

Police Chief Mark Clouse says 32 year-old Nicholas Lytle was taken into custody in Calhoun County on an outstanding warrant from Greene County for parole violation and fourth degree criminal mischief.

Lytle violated his parole on August 28th when he was charged for fourth degree criminal mischief after he allegedly kicked in the front door of his ex-girlfriend’s home in the 600 block of West Adams Street, causing about $500 damage to the door and door frame. He was serving a 25-year prison sentence for a felony burglary incident in Lyon County in 2008. He was then placed on parole in 2013.

He was transported to the Greene County jail where he was booked and released after posting $100 bail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond.
