The Greene County Development Corporation annual dinner meeting is happening tomorrow.

The evening will be held at The Greene Room events center at Wild Rose, starting with cocktails at 6pm. The dinner will start around 6:45pm and the meeting will follow. During the meeting will be an overview of a recently completed workforce housing study, plus several keynote speakers including Jefferson Matters: Main Street Program Director Peg Raney, Spencer City Manager Bob Fagan, along with two other speakers.

“(Vice-President of Operations) Jim Ober is going to talk about Scranton Manufacturing’s project. It’s completed (and) adding 70 to 80 new jobs to our community and what a plus that is. Then Mid-American Energy is going to talk about their new project and what’s coming in here. It’s a real positive, a real looking forward type evening and everybody has a great time. I think we provide some really good and exciting information for them.”

Tickets are $20 per person and will be available at the door.
