A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of Howard Street in Rippey to try and locate two suspicious persons reported to be walking in the downtown area.

A deputy was dispatched to Rippey for a vehicle that had struck a utility pole. Kristina Jo Quillen 36, of Rippey, reported that she was westbound on Percival Street and attempting to make a left turn onto 1st Street, when other vehicles distracted her and she struck the Alliant Energy utility pole. Kristina Quillen was not injured but her 2008 Chrysler Town and Country Van sustained an estimated $10,000.

A deputy responded to a harassment concern in Scranton.

A deputy was dispatched to the 2300 block of 170th Street for a farm tractor that was forced off the roadway and came to rest on its side in the north ditch. The driver of the tractor, Michael Joseph Coil 38, of Jefferson, reported that he was eastbound on 170th Street when a vehicle tried to pass him and had to move back into his lane to avoid an oncoming westbound car. Coil reported that he drove the tractor onto the shoulder of the roadway to avoid the other vehicles. The John Deere 4450 tractor then entered the ditch and came to rest on its right side. Michael Coil was not injured but the tractor, which is owned by James Holz of rural Grand Junction, was estimated to be a total loss.

A deputy was dispatched to the Greene County Intermediate School in Grand Junction to speak to the staff about the welfare of a student.

A deputy was out of position and unable to locate a reported erratic driver on Highway 30 near X Avenue.

A deputy located and arrested Eric Wayne Bellinghausen 36, of Jefferson, for a Probation Violation.

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a call in the 300 block of North Wilson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
