Labor Day is a national holiday and therefore several offices will be closed and services suspended Monday.
The Perry City Hall and Water Works office will be closed Monday. The Perry Public Library will be closed both Sunday and Monday, with fall and winter hours resuming Tuesday. The McCreary Community Building will be open from 1-5pm Monday, with the pool closing at 4:30. Monday’s regular Perry City Council meeting has been pushed back to Tuesday at 6pm. Monday’s garbage and recycling routes will be picked up on Tuesday and Tuesday’s routes will be run Wednesday. Therefore, there is no yard waste pickup next week and the service will resume for the areas north of Willis Avenue on September 14th.
