The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors have approved another step in completing a project in the southern portion of the County.
County Engineer Josh Sebern says the County is purchasing the second right-of-way as part of the Beaver 33/Menlo Dump Bridge project. “We had already agreed to purchase the south side. This will be the north side, from Terry and Rhonda Harwood — they were in agreement with the project and have agreed to sell us some right-of-way. This is two purchase agreements — one for permanent easement and one for temporary construction easement. The temporary easement has a total lump sum of $352 and grants us access. The permanent right-of-way easement has a total lump sum of $2,414. We are buying 1/4th acre, and the temporary easement is .15 acres, which includes fencing.”
The first right-of-way purchase for the project took place in early August at a cost of $3,800.
