Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has released updated cash rental rates for Dallas County.

Seventeen local producers submitted a crop reporting survey in the County.  Results show the average corn yield between was 165 bushes per acre and soybeans yielded an average of 48 bushels per acre.

Typical cash rent for corn and soybeans was $250 per tillable acre.  That puts the average rent per five-year average of corn yield at $1.34 and beans at $4.60.
