July was another successful month for the Greene County Action Resource Center in Jefferson.

Assistant Coordinator Shirley Haupert says they served 81 families for a total of 215 individuals in July.

Items needed at this time include canned vegetables like corn and carrots, boxed macaroni and cheese, soda crackers and bulk toilet paper. Haupert says she’s appreciative of all the donations that the food pantry receives on a regular basis.

Donations can be made anytime the ARC is open on Wednesdays and the third Saturday every month from 9am to noon. You can also call Haupert to schedule a donation drop-off at 515-391-1025.
