Despite losing one of the best pitchers in school history after last season, Bryce Kearns, the West Central Valley baseball team did not have much of a letdown this season. The Wildcats scored 96 runs this season, up from 83 next year. Their steals were up as well, from 56 to 78. One of the most impressive improvements for the Wildcats came in the form of extra base hits. The 2016 Wildcats had 36 extra base hits compared to 21 last year.
