The Perry Chamber is starting a new program to recognize those who make a positive difference in the community.

The Community PRIDE Award will be given out once a month to community members or businesses that go above and beyond to show Perry pride.

Nominations will be accepted by the Chamber and the Board of Directors will choose a worthy recipient who will then receive a special gift.

Executive Director Bob Wilson says the goal is to promote positive community improvements and say thank you to those who make Perry a great place to live and work.

The Chamber Board is putting together a nomination form that will be emailed out to members and available at the office and online.
